Wharton-Smith recently completed the City of Orlando's new Fire Station #1 Headquarters.
WSI provided Design-Build services for the new construction of the City of Orlando’s Fire Station Headquarters, which is located in the heart of downtown Orlando. The 60,000 s.f., 11-bay station houses 70 firefighters and includes administration space, as well as the special operations units, consisting of Arson and Bomb, Dive Team and Haz Mat. Fire Station #1 was designed and built to be energy efficient, utilizing various sustainable design and construction elements, and is anticipated to be a LEED building. The design-build team includes: · Wharton-Smith, Inc.
