Each year, the Central Florida Chapter of ABC recognizes and celebrates outstanding projects built by its members. The Chapter’s highest recognition is the Eagle Award.
This year, Orlando Water won an Eagle Award for Cypress West Water Reclamation Facility. On Oct. 26, team members were honored at ABC’s annual awards banquet at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.
Congratulations to the following team members: Matt Peterson, Josh Burns, Adam Bergdahl, Jordan Lyons, Kelsie Dieckmann, Robert Lightsey, Shawn Calabrese, and Bill McMullen.
The $23 million project included two 7.5 MG ground storage tanks, conversion of a 1.5 MG ground storage tank, a concrete chlorine contact chamber, a reclaimed pump station, a high service pump station, conversion of existing sludge holding tanks, a new electrical building, and new generators.
