Recently, Wharton-Smith and the City of Clearwater Council broke ground on the renovation of Crest Lake Park.

Leroy Chin, Parks & Recreation Project Manager, said, “Wharton-Smith’s team has done a great job working with the designers to bring this project within budget. I know that once we begin work, your field staff will bring that same level of professionalism into the construction phase.”

The $5.1 million project includes a lakeside boardwalk with overlook deck, pavilions, open play area with new playground equipment and flex scape, splash pad, walking trail, picnic shelters, and restrooms. The project team will also complete modifications to the existing Florida Veterans Memorial Plaza and the dog park.
